Can I convert "end of line" codes with Kword?

Hi,

I often get documents with Windows or Apple end of line codes (CR and CRLF respectively). Since I use Ubuntu Linux I would like to convert that to UNIX-like "line feeds" (LF).

Can I do this with Kword 1.6.3 either for a full document or with a text selection?

Thanks

Mamadu

What document format is in use? You can import some documents using File >Import. For details of filters, see http://koffice.org/filters/

Normally KWord handles these conversions automatically; if you save them as plain text (.txt) files you should get an option to save them in either Unix, Windows or Mac formats when you save them as this is the only time it isn't handled automatically.
